Did you know that one of the most significant factors in property values is the schools in the neighborhood?  Well-maintained schools with solid instructional programs are the lifeblood of any healthy neighborhood, leading to low crime rates and higher property values!  Strong schools produce a well-educated workforce and citizens who contribute positively to society and the economy of the city.

Useful Information from DISTRICT 11

District 11 is excited to offer students and staff 5 free downloads of Desktop Office 2013 and free access to Office 365!

Click on the icon to go to Log on with your District 11 username and password. You will see the link to "Install Office on more devices." on the opening screen.

Office 365 is Microsoft's Online Word, Online Excel, and Online Power Point with a safe place to save your work in One Drive. Users have the ability to access work from virtually any place at any time. Think of this as your u:drive with all the Office programs you use all the time! Office 365 allows us to work on documents, share and collaborate on projects and to finalize reports with an Internet connection and your valid District 11 user name and password.

Desktop Office 2013 is the full version of the Office programs we use on our desktop computers. District 11 staff and students can download up to 5 personal devices. Office 2013 and Office 365 are independent of each other AND also work together to provide sharing and saving when used together.

Microsoft and District 11 have had a long standing relationship. Part of our agreement with Microsoft includes 24/7/365 access to the Office products for staff and students and we hope everyone will take full advantage of this great District 11 perk! Share your thoughts and questions about Office 365 and the free downloads of desktop Office with D11's Chief Information Officer, Robert Curran at
