Good afternoon all.

Three XC-Meets completed, one to go.  Next WEDNESDAY OCT 4 at Garry Berry will be the final meet of the season.  It has been a great experience and the runners have improved so much.  There were approximately 843 runners at Mitchell HS on Thursday.  Congratulations to Guinevere for finishing 3rd out of 63 4th grade girls, and Jose for his 6th place finish out of 80 4th grade boys.  All the runners have performed exceptionally well and have improved as the season went on.

Next TUESDAY, OCT 3, we will have the end of season banquet/recognition at 4:15 pm. If you are attending, please enter through the front entrance doors and make your way to the gym.  If you are not attending, please pick up your child from the Kiss N Go lane south of the school.  I am accepting the RSVP letters I sent home until Monday.  I will be ordering pizza based on the number of RSVP's that were returned.  I base my pizza order on 2 slices per person.  I have attached the end of season invite with this communique.  Please consider bringing any side dishes to share with the group. I will have punch available to drink.

WEDNESDAY OCT 4 is the last XC-meet of the season.  It will be at Garry Berry Stadium located at Wasson HS. I have attached the meet information sheet with this.  Please remember that all the elementary schools will be in attendance, so if you were at Mitchell HS yesterday you may have experienced the parking fun.

Thank you for sharing and supporting your child for the last 6 weeks.  I hope they all had a positive experience and take many positive memories with them into the future.
