ELL Team
I entered the world of education 35 years ago, and I still love what I get to call my job. My husband served in the US Air Force for 29 years so our family has had the opportunity to live in many different places throughout the country. I have taught different grades at the elementary/middle/high school levels, as well as college and adult learners (in general classrooms, Spanish, and ESL/ELL). I also have had the chance to work with students and educators in other countries -- one of my very favorite places to spend time is in the rural areas of Guatemala.
I grew up in Montana and love spending time outside, especially on a beach or in the mountains. Traveling and reading are also high on my list of favorite things to do. My husband and I have 3 grown children, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, 2 dogs, and 1 cat – and a brand-new baby granddaughter!
I believe that every experience teaches us something that we are supposed to learn, and that having genuine experiences is one of the best paths to life-long learning. It is truly a gift to be part of my students' journey!
