Ms. Elizabeth Dale
Hello!
My name is Elizabeth Dale, and I am excited to teach this year’s 1st grade class! This is my first year in the district and my first year in Colorado.
I’m originally from Minnesota and graduated this winter from Minnesota State University-Moorhead (Go Dragons!). I also long-term subbed in a 2nd grade class this past spring. I chose to move to Colorado to live with my older sister and experience the outdoor culture.
When I’m not teaching, I like to run, hike, play guitar, and spend time with friends and family. Some of my favorite treats are vanilla Chai and anything chocolate!
I love teaching my students and believe every child comes to school wanting to work hard and be their best self. My goal is to create an environment where each student belongs, feels valued, and knows they are loved. I cannot wait to meet all the families and students and welcome them into a new school year!

My name is John Glisson. I have been teaching for 20 years. I enjoy cooking and reading, but I am obsessed with making pottery. I even sponsor pottery clubs for 2-5th grades. What I like the most about teaching is that no day is ever, ever the same. I also like to the trick of getting students to enjoy the learning. I am the middle child from a big family, but at home it’s just Finley, my sweet doggy, and me. My primary license is in music. I began as a music teacher. I’ve also taught German to elementary school and high school. I switched to teaching for elementary in 2007 at GLOBE Charter School and loved it. I joined the Midland staff this year.

Fourth & Fifth Reading
Hello and welcome,
My name is Ingrid Williams, and I am a second-career teacher. I retired from the Air Force in 2011 after 23+ years of service, and now I am living my dream of teaching! I am originally from Moss Point, Mississippi, but I've been in Colorado since October 2003 when my family and I transferred here for duty at the United States Air Force Academy. I am a mom of two sons and a bonus mom of two daughters. I love teaching and spending time with my family, both immediate and extended. I have seven grandchildren, three in the immediate area and the others are in places I get to visit! My favorite past time is traveling. My destination of choice is any where there is a beach! My second favorite past time is watching sports. I am a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Lakers, LSU Tigers, and any other team within the SEC! I am proud to be a Midland Mustang since 2013, and I look forward to many years of helping our future leaders realize their dreams.

Ms. Amber Johnson
Hi all! I'm Amber Johnson, a Kansas native and graduate of Kansas State University, with a Masters in Teaching. I have previously taught third, fourth and fifth grades, beginning with a focus on ELA and now excited to focus on math instruction.
I come from a family of educators. My dad taught for 31 years in middle school industrial arts. One of my brothers taught middle and high school math. My youngest brother taught elementary school PE. I also spent many years serving in libraries, and it is my passion for everyone to be welcome and safe in the classroom.
When I'm not thinking about multiplication, fractions or polygons, I enjoy snuggling with my cat Max, trail running, and listening to true crime podcasts.
