Mrs. Courtney Nohr
This is my 7th year working for D11. I was a district behavior interventionist for the past 6 years. I started my teaching career as a special education teacher for students with affective needs. I am currently part time at Midland doing MTSS and behavior support.
I have a bachelor's degree in language arts for the middle and high school level, a master's degree in special education, and am currently testing for my BCBA licensure. I have a 4-year-old son who keeps me on my toes and a husband who works for the Fire Dept in Colorado Springs. We try to spend any free time we have rock climbing and camping in the mountains somewhere.
I have spent the past 6 years working closely with the Midland Family and am very excited to be officially housed in the building!

Mrs. Dawnelle Wynia
Hi, my name is Dawnelle Wynia and this is my 5th year as a reading interventionist at Midland Elementary but my 11th year doing reading interventions in District Eleven. Previously I was the director of a grant funded after school program. Teaching reading is my passion which led me to go back to Colorado College in 2012 to get certified as a dyslexia therapist.
I have a Master's in Teaching and a Bachelor's in Psychology. I have two amazing kids aged 15 and 18 and have been married for 21 years. Hanging out with my family, working out, hiking, reading, and cooking are some of my favorite things to do during my free time. Thanks for sharing your kids with us here at Midland!!!
